19th Century Antique Pewter Table Lamp. During the latter part of the 19th century, the Symbolist Movement was strong in philosophy and design. Dream-like imagery and whimsy abounded. This lamp is a product of those times. Male images of "The Wind" blend with floral swirls and architecture. The base once held an oil lamp with a hurricane globe, and it has scroll feet.
