Important emerald brooch houses 2 large pear shaped emeralds totalling about 9.75 carats. 67 European cut diamonds set in platinum surround the emeralds and comprise a bow-like bale to be worn as a pendant with chain. The diamonds weigh approximately 2 carats overall. Single pin back is all 18K yellow gold, and the emeralds are set in closed back mounts. The pin weighs 7.4 pennyweights overall. Circa 1910.
