Late 19th Century fine spelter figure was probably cast in the last quarter of the 19th century after an original, then transformed into a lamp. Patina looks like perfectly aged bronze. Base is foundry marked "RP & WH Gibson, publishers." Commission this stately figure to guard your home office, or assign him to the study beside a chair to keep the peace.
